TISTR Visited Technical University of Munich (TUM) for Advancing Research and Innovation and Knowledge Exchange

On 30 October 2023, Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of TISTR and Ms. Sirinan Thubthimthet, a Director of Expert Centre of Innovative Health Food (InnoFood) participating in a meeting with Dr. Tao Yang, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow of the Chair of Vibro-Acoustics of Vehicles and Machines, School of Engineering and Design of TUM, together with the faculty members and researchers from the Technical University of Munich, Garching Campus in Federal Republic of Germany.
The purpose of this meeting is to exchange knowledge, discuss research directions in the field of science, as well as utilize the transfer technology and innovation between the two countries which can foster the future partnerships between organizations, enhancing the commercial product for entrepreneurs, supporting community, SMEs, and increasing the competitiveness of the country across all sectors.

During the meeting, Dr. Tao Yang presented outstanding research work related to Vibro-Acoustics of Vehicles and Machines and introduced research projects that the university intends to collaborate on with various organizations and research institutes in the future.
At the same time, Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit and Ms. Sirinan Thubthimthet presented an overview of TISTR and the working projects focusing on innovative health food and herbal products, and material innovations that contribute to enhancing the competitive capabilities of SMEs and community enterprises.

Following that, TISTR representatives visited the laboratories and other faculties within Garching Campus, including TUM Department of Mathematics, TUM Fakultät für Physik, and TUM Zentralinstitut für Katalyseforschung. These departments encompass a wide range of research activities both fundamental and applied research, all centered around education, technology, and fostering innovation.
