TISTR Joined Forces with National and International Partners to Celebrate Packaging Excellence.

The Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), in collaboration with the Asian Packaging Federation (APF), ProPak Asia, Informa Markets Thailand, the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM), PTT Public Company Limited, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), OSD Company Limited, Siam Zimmerman Limited, the Thai Packaging Association (TPA), the Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE), and the Thai Innovative Printing Trade Association (TINPA), proudly hosted the ThailandStar Awards 2026 and AsiaStar Awards 2025 Presentation Ceremony on 11 June 2026, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

On this occasion, Dr. Pattra Maneesin, Deputy Governor of Sustainable Development, TISTR and APF Secretary General delivered the report address, Mr. Manu Leopairote, Chairman of Informa Markets Thailand, deliver the welcome remarks, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Arjharn, Governor of TISTR presided over the award ceremony and delivered the official opening remarks, emphasizing the crucial role of packaging innovation in enhancing product value, supporting business growth, and strengthening the global competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs.

The ThailandStar Awards 2026 was organized under the theme “Packaging Beyond the Box: Redefining Boundaries, Unlocking the Future of Packaging”, receiving a total of 111 entries across four categories: Consumer Package, Transportation Package, Eco-friendly Package, and Student Category.

For the AsiaStar Awards 2025, a total of 103 entries were submitted from across Asia, showcasing outstanding achievements in packaging innovation and sustainability.

The awards were presented by distinguished international packaging leaders, including Ms. Luciana Pellegrino, President of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), Dr. Joseph Ross J. Jocson, Immediate Past President of the Asian Packaging Federation (APF), Asst. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Arjharn, Mr. Manu Leopairote, Dr. Pattra Maneesin, and esteemed members of the judging committee.
