TISTR showed research products and innovation for human health and the environment and received 8 awards, at Innovations Geneva 2024

On 17 – 21 April 2024, Thai delegation, led by Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of MHESI, and Dr. Chutima Eamchochawalit, Governor of TISTR, along with TISTR’s researcher team consisting of (1) Dr. Rewadee Anuwattana, Research Expert of R&D Groups for Sustainable Development, (2) Ms. Ubon Rerk-am, Senior Research Officer of InnoHerb, (3) Dr. Sarunya Laovitthayanggoon, Senior Research Officer of InnoHerb, (4) Dr. Somkamol Inthawong, Senior Research Officer of InnoHerb, (5) Dr. Sitthiphong Soradech, Senior Research Officer of InnoHerb, and (6) Ms. Pattamaphorn Phuangngamphan, Research Officer of InnoEn, joined the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2024, in Switzerland, to present research products and innovation for human health and the environment.

There were five TISTR’s research products and innovation selected by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) were showcased and received 8 awards as follows:

(1) technology and innovation for municipal solid waste management and value-added creation according to circular economy concept, receiving awards of ‘Outstanding innovation – Prize of Hong Kong Delegation’, ‘NRTC Special Award for the Excellent Invention’, and ‘Gold Medal’,

(2) Rusiren dietary supplement products to promote sleeping and release snoring, receiving awards of ‘Distinguished Innovation Award from King Abdulahziz University’ and ‘Bronze Medal’,

(3) innovative cosmeceutical product comprising Safflamin A derived from Carthamus tinctorius extract using microemulsion technology for promoting hair growth and anti-hair loss, receiving ‘Silver Medal’ award,

(4) gelling agent for reducing stretch abdomen from goat peptide, receiving ‘Bronze Medal’ award, and

(5) nutricosmetics serum with mushroom extract encapsulated in the phytosome delivery system for anti-melasma, receiving ‘Bronze Medal’ award.

At Inventions Geneva 2024, TISTR publicized its research products to the global marketplace which attracted inventors and visitors from more than 40 countries and more than 1,000 inventions were registered.
