On 8 May 2023, Dr. Chutima Eamchochawalit, a Governor of TISTR, joined MHESI Executive team led by Prof. Dr. Anek Laothammatas, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), to welcome Mr. Han Zhiqiang, an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Thailand, and his delegation.
After the meeting, Mr. Han Zhiqiang and his delegation visited Suan Pakkad Palace Museum, located on Sri Ayutthaya Rd., Bangkok, where exhibits noteworthy antiques and art objects of Thailand and the World, collected by Major General Chao Worawongthee His Royal Highness Prince Chumphotphong Paribatra Krom Muen Nakhon Sawan Sakdipinit, and M.R. Panthip Paribatra.
TISTR is one of Thai research institutions which has collaborated with China in science, technology and innovation (STI), especially railway, agriculture and biotechnology. Both sides assured their intentions to continue and support STI cooperation and advancement of the two countries.
