Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), represented by Dr. Sitthiphong Soradech, Senior Researcher at Expert Centre of Innovative Herbal Products (InnoHerb), together with TISTR’s research team and Thepthai Products Co., Ltd., presented the innovative nanocosmeceutical product, “P’learn Daily Balance Revitalizing Serum,” at the 9th China (Shanghai) International Invention & Innovation Expo 2026. The event was organized by the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) in collaboration with public and private organizations in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China during 11–13 June 2026.
The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) served as the main agency responsible for supporting and coordinating Thailand’s participation through the “Thailand Pavilion”, showcasing over 150 research projects, inventions, and innovations from 59 organizations, including contributions from young inventors, researchers, educational institutions, government agencies, private sectors, and state enterprises.
The award-winning innovation, “P’learn Daily Balance Revitalizing Serum: Innovative Nanocosmeceutical Product using Transethosome Technology for Delivery of Carissa carandas Extract to Promote Skin Radiance and Anti-aging,” utilizes advanced Transethosome Technology to enhance the delivery efficiency of Carissa carandas extract into the skin, helping to improve skin radiance, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and delay skin aging effectively.
During the event, Mrs. Sirikorn Chiwpreecha, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Rarisorn Akarasripong, Managing Director of Thepthai Products Co., Ltd., participated in the competition and exhibition, while officially introducing the “P’learn” cosmetic product line, which was developed through an exclusive licensing technology transfer from TISTR to commercial production and distribution. This achievement demonstrates the successful transformation of scientific knowledge, research, and innovation into tangible economic value.
The innovation received the Gold Medal Award and the NRCT Special Award. The research team comprised:

“From Laboratory to Global Stage, From Knowledge to Commercial Innovation” represents another proud milestone for Thailand and TISTR in advancing Thai research towards international excellence and adding value to Thai herbal resources through science, technology, and innovation in a tangible and sustainable manner.
