On 17 September 2024, Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), together with Mrs. Sirinan Thubthimthed, Chief Administrative Expert and Acting Director of the Expert Centre of Innovative Health Food (InnoFood), participated in a welcome reception – Bridging Norwegian and Thai Nutraceutical Communities. The event was held at the Norwegian Ambassador’s Residence in Bangkok and organized by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Thailand.
On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to the Kingdom of Thailand and Mr. Axel Blom, President of the Thai-Norway Chamber of Commerce extended warm greetings and delivered the welcome remarks to distinguished guests including representatives from private enterprises and governmental organizations. Additionally, the event featured presentations such as “Thailand: Supplementary Market Outlook” by Mrs. Runchita Srivoravilai, Thailand Vertical Lead – Advertiser and Agency at Nielsen (Thailand), introductions from leading Norwegian companies, and networking activities to promote collaboration between Thai and Norwegian businesses. This gathering marked a significant step toward strengthening the relationship between the nutraceutical industries of both nations, fostering innovation, and exploring opportunities for growth and partnership.
