On 25 March 2026, TISTR’s Executives and researchers led by Dr. Pattra Maneesin, Deputy Governor R&D for Sustainable Development, and Dr. Rujira Jitwung, Research Expert, together with researcher teams from Expert Center of Innovative Clean Energy and Environment (InnoEn), and Biodiversity Research Center (BRC), welcomed delegation from the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute (PERPI) led by Atty. Angel Chona Grace I. Valero-Nuñez, Deputy Executive Director, and Mr. Jaymar Y. Sorza, Senior Science Research Specialist, and Informa Markets led by Ms. Rungphech Chitanuwat, Country General Manager – Philippines, at TISTR Technopolis.
The meeting aimed to exchange R&D insights regarding clean energy technology and to explore potential collaboration between the two institutes. After the meeting, the PERPI delegation also had a lab visit at TISTR’s energy research facilities and infrastructures, including bio-methanol and biomass laboratories for high-quality biogas production and biomass-to-energy conversion, as well as, Algae Excellence Center (ALEC), which focuses on algae-based biotechnology researches and its diverse applications of bio-products and bio-energy in industries.
