On September 1, 2023, TISTR by Dr. Pratip Vongbandit, Deputy Governor of Research and Development for Sustainable Development welcomed the participants from Tokyo Tech – AYSEAS 2023 Program.
This joint educational program is organized annually by Tokyo Institute of Technology and partner universities in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam, with the purpose to bring together students from different background, culture and academic fields for enhancing their motivation and learning experiences through site visits, discussion and group work at companies and public institutions.


Throughout the event, the students had an opportunity to immerse themselves in the facilities and encourage their ideas on engineering and robotic automations for supporting the industry and SMEs in Thailand with the presentation conducted by Dr. Suwit Auchariyamet, the Director of Expert Centre of Innovative Industrial Robotics and Automation (InnoRobot).




They also engaged with TISTR working projects through the laboratory tour at the Railway Transportation System Testing Centre (RTTC), together with the presentation on industrial services of railway and transportation system which can support the Thai and international industrial sector or enterprises led by Dr. Anat Hasap, the Director of Railway Transportation System Testing Centre (RTTC).




This program is one of the activities implemented under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TISTR by Dr.Pratip Vongbandit, Deputy Governor Research & Development for Sustainable Development and Prof. Manabu Ihara, Head of “InfoSyEnergy Consortium”, Director of Academy of Energy and Informatics, Tokyo Institute of Technology.
