
The Expert Centre of Innovative Industrial Robotics and Automation (InnoRobot), Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) organized the International Workshop on the Research Network Creation of IoT for Community Water Supply Production and a site visit to Bang Sue Environmental Education and Conservation Center on 30 August 2022 during 09:00-16:00 hrs. (GMT+7 Bangkok Time)
The objectives of this workshop were to develop a production system of quality, low-cost, and sustainable community water supply using IoT in a shortage area by applying scientific knowledge and technology, as well as to establish an international network between Thai and foreign researchers in the field of IoT-enabled community water supply.
On this occasion, Dr. Pratip Vongbandit, Deputy Governor, Research and Development Group for Sustainable Development presided at the workshop and delivered the opening remarks. In the morning session, there were presentations on water technology-related topics; such as Community Water Management Inspired by the Royal Initiative, Smart Systems in Water Management, Problems of Community Water Supply Production in Urban and Rural Areas in India, Concept of IoT Application for Community Water Supply Production in Vietnam, The Quality of Community Water Supply in Thailand, and Concept of IoT Application for Community Water Supply Production.
