Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), affiliated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) together with Dr. Pattra Maneesin, Deputy Governor of Industrial Services officially visited the Republic of the Philippines during 31 January to 3 February 2023.
On this auspicious occasion, TISTR executives had a golden opportunity to attend an in-person meeting with Secretary Dr. Renato Umali Solidum, Jr., Department of the Science and Technology (DOST) and Secretary Alfredo Espinosa Pascual, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to discuss the potential cooperation on the utilization of science, technology, and innovation in order to strengthen the capabilities, competitiveness, and growth for Thai and Philippines SMEs and entrepreneurs.
TISTR had important missions to sign the Letter of Intent with DTI, exchange and share experience on shared service facilities for the entrepreneurs, as well as visit interesting laboratories under the governance of the Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI).
