Mr. Sayan Tanpanich, Former Deputy Governor Bio-Industrial Group and TISTR Advisor on Product Development, presided over the AIST – TISTR Mini Joint Symposium, which was co-organized by Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan on-site at TISTR Technopolis and via Zoom meeting on November 24, 2022.
Since TISTR and AIST have had a long relationship, the two institutes would like to continue and develop cooperation research into new fields. The event’s goal is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and knowledge on various agricultural technology and biotechnology research fields.
Prof. Dr. Yoshinori Ohmiya, Prime Senior Researcher, Biomedical Research Institute (BMRI), AIST, and representatives from HORIBA, Ltd. attended the event on-site at TISTR Technopolis, with other AIST researchers participating online.
On this occasion, there are TISTR researchers presented their works including Dr. Rochana Tangkoonboribun, Director of Expert Centre of Innovative Agriculture (InnoAg) presented on TISTR showcase in Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) related projects, Dr. Chiramet Auranwiwat, Research Officer of Expert Centre of Innovative Herbal Products, presented on Bioactive compound of Boesenbergia rotunda roots extract in different parts of Thailand and Dr. Khanok-On Amprayn, Senior Research Officer of Expert Centre of Innovative Agriculture (InnoAg), presented on Plant associated microorganism : TISTR perspective for sustainable green growth.
