During 28-29 September 2022, WAITRO organized the Board-Regional Focal Point (RFP) Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia. TISTR as the RFP Asia and the Pacific of WAITRO participated in the meeting.
The meeting was important to brainstorm the preparation on WAITRO Summit 2022, the flagship event and networking platform among WAITRO members, non-members, and any stakeholder parties to be held in Cape Town, South Africa in November 2022.
Moreover, there was discussion among the WAITRO Secretariat and RFPs on the sustainable future of WAITRO. Potential funding sources and collaborative programs to promote members engagement, improvement of internal and external communication to increase the recognition of WAITRO.
