On 1 September 2022, Dr. Gijs Theunissen DVM, Agricultural Counsellor, the Embassy of the Netherlands to Thailand headed his team including Mr. Dennis van Leijde, Export Manager, Kubo Group to TISTR Technopolis.
On that occasion, Mr. Sayan Tanpanich, Deputy Governor R&D on Bio-industries welcomed their visit on behalf of TISTR. He expressed the sincere thanks to the support of the embassy in coordinating the visit of the delegation from Thailand hosted by Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, including TISTR to had a visit to KUBO and BOM Group, the leading private companies on greenhouse and smart farming system in the Netherland on last 26 August 2022. Moreover, Mr. Dennis van Leijde was one of the speakers of the APEC Flower and Ornamental Plants event hosted by TISTR on 19-20 July 2022.
The meeting discussed to explore possibility for future collaboration. There were interesting points, such as, innovative materials to keep the cool temperature within the greenhouse while saving electricity cost, greenhouse for clean fruits production, greenhouse to control growing of cannabis for medical purpose.
