On 30 January 2026<\/strong>, the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR<\/strong>) participated in the international seminar \u201cJAIMA Nanotechnology and Carbon Neutral Symposium in Thailand\u201d<\/strong>, organized by the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers\u2019 Association (JAIMA)<\/strong>. The symposium aimed to promote collaboration in nanotechnology, scientific instruments, and technologies supporting the transition toward a low-carbon society in Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Dr. Nuttapon Vachiraroj<\/strong>, researcher from TISTR, represented the Institute as a speaker and delivered a presentation entitled \u201cMicroalgae for Carbon Neutrality: Bio-Based Solutions for a Low-Carbon Society.\u201d<\/strong> The presentation highlighted the potential of microalgae as a bio-based resource to support carbon neutrality goals and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium was honored by the presence of representatives from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand<\/strong>, as well as experts from leading Thai and Japanese organizations, including NANOTEC (NSTDA)<\/strong>, Chulalongkorn University<\/strong>, and Kyoto University<\/strong>. Representatives from companies such as JASCO, DKK-TOA, Kyoto Electronics Manufacturing, JEOL, AcroEdge, Horiba, and Shimadzu-Bara Scientific<\/strong> also joined the knowledge-sharing sessions on nanotechnology and low-carbon technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TISTR\u2019s participation in this event reflects the strong and continuous collaboration between TISTR and JAIMA<\/strong> in advancing science, technology, and innovation, in line with Thailand\u2019s policies and Japan\u2019s development initiatives. TISTR remains committed to strengthening international cooperation and advancing research to support sustainable environmental technologies and a low-carbon economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
