On Friday, 9 January 2026<\/strong>, the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR<\/strong>) welcomed a delegation from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan<\/strong>, together with representatives from leading Japanese companies, namely Shimadzu Corporation, Kao Corporation, and Nippon Steel<\/strong>, as well as the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand<\/strong>, at TISTR Technopolis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit included academic presentations, meetings between relevant researchers from AIST, and companies, and a\u00a0sensory testing workshop for functional food, providing opportunities for in-depth technical exchange and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program featured presentations highlighting recent advances in\u00a0life science and biotechnology<\/strong>, including the latest research from\u00a0AIST<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0VISTEC<\/strong>, innovations in\u00a0microbial analysis<\/strong>, as well as technologies for\u00a0mosquito prevention and environmental applications<\/strong>\u00a0presented by participating organizations. In addition, the organizations shared their research capabilities and ongoing activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit reflects the long-standing and strong academic partnership between TISTR and AIST<\/strong>, and served as an important platform for strengthening research and innovation collaboration between Thailand and Japan<\/strong> toward future joint initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
