On 12-13 October 2022, Dr. Pattra Maneesin, Deputy Governor Industrial Services of TISTR and APF Secretariat (Asian Packaging Federation), joined \u2018Sustainability\u2019 Working Group, in World Packaging Organization (WPO) Meeting, in Tokyo, Japan. Meeting agenda included \u2018WPO Sustainability Portfolio Update\u2019, \u2018Food Waste Update\u2019, \u2018Global Packaging Design for Recycling Guide Update\u2019, \u2018Waste Stream Mapping Guide Update\u2019 and Country Report Session presented by each country member. Also, Dr. Pattra attended WPO Board Meeting. Some meeting agenda included \u2018Report of Education Working Group\u2019, \u2018Report on Marketing Working Group\u2019, \u2018WPO VP Sustainability & Save Food Update\u2019, and \u2018WorldStar Update\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 14 October 2022, Dr. Pattra Maneesin attended World Packaging Organization (WPO) Conference, as an invited speaker to present \u2018Packaging Industry in ASEAN: Current Trend, Issues and Future Prediction\u2019, at Tokyo Big Sigh Conference Tower, in Tokyo, Japan. The conference aimed to share information of development of packaging trends and designs among the countries, and to promote packaging technology, science and engineering in Asia, America, Latin America and Europe. After that, Dr. Pattra visited \u2018Tokyo Pack 2022\u2019, the largest international packaging show in Asia, at Tokyo Big Sight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
