On 12 June 2024, Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of TISTR extended her heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Ms. Millicent Cruz Paredes, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand on the occasion of the 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence and the Nationhood and the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of the Philippines and Kingdom of Thailand. The theme of the event was \u201cMoving Forward to A New Era of Closer Friendship and Common Prosperity\u201d, which was taken place at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Thailand delivered the opening speech emphasizing the strong relationship between the two countries in trade, economy, science and technology, agriculture, tourism, and culture. The event also included an award ceremony for a logo design contest, Philippine cultural showcases, martial arts, traditional dance, vocal performances, fashion shows, art exhibitions, and Filippino cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, TISTR maintains good relations with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Thailand. We enthusiastically support cooperative activities with Philippine organizations such as the Philippine Trade Training Center \u2013 Global MSME Academy (PTTC-GMEA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), Department of Science and Technology (DOST). These collaborations aim to exchange knowledge in agriculture and packaging, conduct joint R&D projects, and promote the application of science and technology to increase the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
