The 35th Asia Pacific Metrology Programme General Assembly (APMP)
Mr. Wirach Chantra, Deputy Governor of Industrial Services Group and Mrs. Thippaya Junvee Fortune, Director of Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, participated The 35th Asia Pacific Metrology Programme General Assembly (APMP), the international metrology conference of Asia Pacific, during 28 November – 6 December 2019 at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), Sydney, Australia. TISTR has been assigned by National Institute of Metrology (NIM) to be Designated Institute (DI) on preservative measurement in food and beverage samples.
During the conference, Mr. Wirach Chantra attended TCQS Workshop “Monitoring the transition of the quality management system to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 17034:2016” to present on the annual progress of Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs) on the quality system according to the ISO / IEC 17025 of the chemical measurement representatives in the scope of preservatives in food and beverage measurement. The Deputy Governor also attended NMI Director and General Assembly (GA) meeting.
On this occasion, Mrs. Thippaya Junvee Fortune joined Food Safety Working Group, TCQM workshop and TCQM meeting, and visited laboratories of National Measurement Institute, Australia.
By participating APMP 2019, TISTR gained development in various fields and played important role as a representative chemistry measurement organization. The participants also had chance to exchange and connect with others representatives from international countries.
