TISTR Governor delivered a speech for opening ceremony of ASAEAN Packaging Seminar “Sustainable Packaging for Circular Economy”
Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) in cooperation with Department of Industrial Promotion, Thai Packaging Centre, Kasetsart University and Thai Packaging Association and supported by Messe (Düsseldorf, Germany) organized ASAEN Packaging Seminar “Sustainable Packaging for Circular Economy” which is a part of PackPrint International 2019 on 18 September 2019 at welcome Hall, BITEC Bangna, and Thailand.
This event is conducted along the APF events in order to exchange and update packaging knowledge and technology, as well as networking among the APF members.
On this occasion, Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, TISTR governor presided over the opening ceremony that “packaging waste problem becomes big issue all over the world. Therefore, it was necessary for everyone to take precaution on the use of packaging, as well as having better understanding on environmentally friendly packaging in order to create sustainable society.”
On the same day, the Governor and TISTR representatives attended AsiaStar Award 2019 which was one activity hosted by Asian Packaging Federation, APF.
