TISTR delegation visited Japan
The group of TISTR delegation headed by Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor visited Japan during 1-6 September 2019 to participate in the events of JASIS 2019 hosted by Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA) at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan.
At JASIS 2019, TISTR was cordially invited to the opening ceremony and to have the booth exhibition. Moreover, Dr. Khanitha Chawananorasest was a speaker at Asia Technical Forum 2019 on the topic namely ‘Bioactive Ingredients for Anti-Colon Cancer Extracted from Thai Herbal Plants’, and Ms. Lalita Chompen also participated in the poster and flash presentation of the RSC Tokyo International Conference 2019. Both were the international conferences of JASIS 2019. Besides, JAIMA also took TISTR delegates to have a site visit the companies e.g. HORIBA Tokyo Office, JEOL, and Agilent Technologies located in Tokyo to experience on their laboratory and instruments which having potential to facilitate the works of TISTR related to CBD oil extraction, testing of adulteration in food, etc.
In addition to the events of JAIMA, TISTR delegation visited to the R&D institutes in Tsukuba namely Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) to discuss on potential collaboration particularly utilization of yeast for animal feed. The delegation also visited at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) to have the signing ceremony of MOU to expand their collaboration for the other 5 years.
