The 5th Meeting of Joint Committee (JC) on Science and Technology Cooperation between Thailand and India

TISTR representatives, namely Dr. Pratip Vongbandit, Director of Material Properties Analysis and Development Center (MPAD), Mrs. Thippaya Junvee Fortune, Director of Analytical Chemistry Laboratory (ACL), and International Relation Division staffs participated in the 5th Meeting of Joint Committee (JC) on Science and Technology Cooperation between Thailand and India on 19 February 2019 at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel, Bangkok.

At the meeting, Thailand by MOST Thailand, agencies under MOST, and India by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India discussed on the collaboration under Program of Co-operation in Science and Technology (POC) and Call for Joint Proposal 2018 which focusing on 5 priority areas including Human Health sciences, Renewable Energy, Photonics, Geospatial Technologies, and Astronomy and will add 2 areas in 2019 which are Bioscience, and Quality Infrastructure. Furthermore, both side also consulted about plan of future cooperation. TISTR by Mrs. Thippaya Junvee Fortune presented about the plan of collaboration project between TISTR and Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, India in the area of Ecotoxicology which will have activities in 2020.IMG_2537
