TISTR in Partnership with JAIMA Organized the 1st TISTR and JAIMA Conjoint Conference on Application of Ingredient for Functional Food and Cosmetics 2018
On 13 November 2018, TISTR collaborated with Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA) held the 1st TISTR and JAIMA Conjoint Conference on Application of Ingredient for Functional Food and Cosmetics 2018 at Rama Gardens Hotel Bangkok. The conference aimed to further develop and exchange academic knowledge about functional foods and the use of modern tools and technology.
The conference was honored to have Mr. Wirach Chantra, Deputy Governor Industrial Services of TISTR and Mr. Hisashi Sugisawa, Chairman of International Affairs Committee, JAIMA delivering opening remarks and congratulatory speech, respectively.
The event was attended by experts and researcher from TISTR, JAIMA, JAIMA member companies and TISTR guests from those public institutes, universities, and private companies. The speakers of this conference included (1) Miss Jiraratana Thesasilpa, Food and Drug Technical Officer, Senior Professional Level, Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Thailand; (2) Dr. Naoki Sugimoto, Chief of Second Section Division of Food Additives, National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS), Japan; (3) Dr. Akkharawit Kanjana-Opas, Deputy Secretary General Directorate of New Growth & Competitiveness, National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI), Thailand; (4) Mrs. Thippaya Junvee, Fortune,Director of Analytical Chemistry Laboratory,Industrial Metrology and Testing Service Centre (MTC), TISTR; (5) Ms.Kobkhun Manotangworapan, Senior Researcher and Acting Director,Product Assessment and Certification Division,Office of Certification Body (OCB), TISTR and also member companies representative from Agilent Technologies, HORIBA, JEOL, Shimadzu, Showa Denko, and Rigaku.
There were also having exhibition from TISTR, JAIMA and JAIMA member companies in order to display and introduce their products and services in the conference.
