Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Thailand in cooperation with Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) organized ASEAN Next 2018

Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Thailand convened the event ‘ASEAN Next 2018: Rising STI Networking for Innovative ASEAN’ during 11 – 23 March 2018 at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The purposes of this event are to create STI networking to support international cooperation between ASEAN and Dialogue Partners, to gather ideas, share and exchange experiences/points of view on how STI can contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and include to seek and strengthen ASEAN – Republic of Korea (RoK) relationship through STI networking.

As part of the ASEAN Next 2018, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) organized 3 workshops as following;

  1. ASEAN in Achieving SDGs with STI : Regional Consultation on Accelerating Progress in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals through Science, Technology and Innovation on 20 March 2018
  2.  ASEAN Biodiversity Resources of Functional Foods for Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) during 20 – 22  March 2018
  3. Railway Technology for Structures Evaluation, Monitoring, Maintenance and Rehabilitation during 20 – 22  March 2018
