A NATIONAL CENTRE OF PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY
Thai Packaging Centre was established according to the National Economic and Social Development
Plan under Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research. The Objectives are to improve
and maintain the quality of products, decrease losses, increase export and up-grade packaging
standard of the country to serve the need of government and private sectors.

Packaging is the art, science, technology and overall concept of a
coordinated system of preparation of goods for shipment distribution,
storage and marketing at optimum costs.
Quality packaging is important at all stages of the product distribution
system. It ensures that the product travels safely from the production
line through handling, storage and transportation until it reaches the
ultimate consumer in sound condition. Moreover, good package
design contributes a great deal to the quality image of a product
and is essential for both successful export and domestic marketing. |
